Jim Bennett is a designer and maker of contemporary handmade furniture, carpentry and interiors.
Having graduated in 1983, Jim went on to co found the Wootten Bennett Design Partnership, a multi - disciplined design practice specialising in commercial, retail and residential interiors.
In 2002 Jim followed his passion for woodworking successfully obtaining a City & Guilds in Cabinet & Furniture Making.
This has provided him with a unique combination of design skills, practical experience and craftsmanship brought together to create his current business.
Commissions range from individual pieces of bespoke furniture such as a single table or desk, fitted furniture, cupboards, shelving, bookcases, to completed rooms.
All work is designed, hand built and hand finished using natural sustainable materials and everything Jim makes, from a jewellery box to a kitchen is finished to the same exacting standard.
Design drawings are produced for each scheme tailored to suit the individual client and each project is managed personally.
Although based in Merseyside Jim is not restricted to the local area and has recently completed projects in London and Yorkshire - so if you have a furniture or carpentry project large or small please get in touch wherever you are.
